Tender Loving Care Pet Nursing Hotel is a luxury hotel for pets. We feature premium luxury suites with full glass doors pets can see out of. Each Suite is custom decorated and includes premium bedding like Big Barker Beds, and yes, some even have TV’s. Our team is on-site to walk, play, and care for your pet. Treat Time and separate Cuddle Time happens three times a day. We also send daily digital ‘report cards’ with pictures to pet parents which give them peace of mind while away. The TLC Experience is like no other.

We take care of all cats and dogs. If you want your pet to receive customized care, love, and attention, TLC is the place for them!!

Many of our pet guests suffer from anxiety. Perhaps they have separation anxiety, storm anxiety and/or do not like to socialize with other cats or dogs. TLC is the perfect environment for these pets as they receive one-on one care.

Finally, if you have a cat or dog with any type of chronic or acute illness, such as diabetes, kidney disease, epilepsy, or cancer, TLC is ready and able to care for these special needs pets as well.

YES! We love to show off TLC Pet Nursing Hotel! You are more than welcome to tour anytime during our business hours. Please Note: For the safety and health of our in-house pet guests and your fur baby, we require proof of up to date vaccinations for any pets coming into our Hotel. You can either bring the vaccine report in with you or we can call your veterinarian before hand.

The safety of your pet is our top priority. For our canine family members, we require need proof of the DHPP, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccines. For our feline guests, we require proof of a current FVRCP and Rabies vaccines.

All vaccinations must be administered by a veterinary professional. Unfortunately, we are NOT able to accept pets that have been vaccinated using Farm & Feed parent or breeder administered vaccines. We require vaccines administered by Veterinary professional. In most cases, we will call your veterinarian of record and procure the vaccine records prior to your stay. If your pets’ vaccines are not current, we will ask that you make an appointment asap prior to the reservation at TLC.  We cannot allow an unvaccinated pet to stay at the hotel. At TLC, our goal is to be the best place for your pet when they are not at home, and that means ensuring a happy, healthy, and safe environment.

If your pet needs veterinary care during his or her stay at TLC, you will be contacted and consulted. If you agree, our staff will consult with your pet’s primary veterinarian; we will even transport your pet to that medical professional, if necessary. 

If veterinary care is needed after hours, we will contact and transport your pet to the local Topeka Emergency Clinic.

By signing the Tender Loving Care Pet Nursing Hotel Pet Parent Agreement, you are giving TLC permission to take these actions.

Daycare
We close at 6:00pm. All pick-ups/check-outs between 6:00pm – 7:00pm will incur an additional $10.00 late charge. If it is extremely necessary to pick up your pet after 7:00 pm, there is a late charge of $20.00. We are not able to support check-outs after 8:00pm.

Overnight Boarding
We ask that you pick up your pet by 10:00am on the last day of overnight boarding. If you are picking up your pet after the 10:00am check-out time, we will add a $47.00 daycare fee. As noted above, we close at 6:00pm. All pick-ups/check-outs between 6:00pm – 7:00pm will incur an additional $10.00 late charge on top of the $47.00 daycare fee.  If it is extremely necessary to pick up your pet after 7:00 pm, the late fee increases to $20.00. We are not able to support check-outs after 8:00pm.

For their own safety and the safety of our staff and pet guests, we are not able to accept the following pet guests:

• Pets that have a contagious disease. 
• Pets that are pregnant
• Non-neutered Dogs daycare and overnight fee is an additional $10/day or night.

No, we do not have restrictions on the breeds that can stay at TLC Pet Nursing Hotel. However, we do not accept pets that are aggressive and put the safety of our staff and pet guests at risk.

Yes! Unaltered dogs can stay at TLC Pet Nursing Hotel for an additional $10/night.
